Chapter 23 – Planning, Applying, and Evaluating a Behavioral Program<\/h1>\n\n\n

This chapter assumes that the reader has knowledge of the principles and procedures and it provides guidelines that should be followed when designing, applying, and evaluating a behavioral program. Implementing the program includes being certain the mediators carry it out as planned and making sure the client’s initial contact with the program is highly reinforcing. A careful evaluation of the initial referral in terms of the preceding questions and considerations can often contribute greatly to the success of a behavioral program. However, the readers as a behavior modifier should answer six questions during the pretreatment assessment phase: Some behavior modifiers are skillful at designing effective programs that is, identifying the program details that are critical to success and that produce rapid desirable results. Neither are there any rigid sets of guidelines to which the readers should adhere for every program they design.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
