Each chapter includes several sets of exercises to help you practice what you’ve learned and test yourself. The exercises cover key elements learned in each chapter and can also be used in conjunction with the workbook Practising French Grammar and Usage.
Exercises are either multiple-choice or write-in, offering different levels of difficulty and engagement, such as changing tenses, translating, selecting modifiers, conjugating verbs, identifying differences between written and spoken French, and more. Some exercise sets include feedback. Correct punctuation, accents, and capitalization must be included for correct answers.
